The Satya Nutrition Foundation is a team of qualified public health, medical, and engineering professionals working to alleviate the widespread South Asian childhood malnutrition crisis.
We applied the latest research in biochemistry and leveraged linear programming to develop a Ready-to-use-Therapeutic Food (RUTF), named Satya Rescue.
Our RUTF targets both physical and the often neglected neurocognitive aspects of recovery.
The Satya Nutrition Foundation uses a three-pronged approach: R&D of the RUTF, Clinical Research, and Community Outreach. We are currently on the Clinical Research step, as we begin the clinical trials of Satya Rescue in Balochistan, Pakistan, in collaboration with Aga Khan University (AKU).
As we begin our clinical trials, we enter the next key phase of our mission. We are also in the development stages of another recipe, designed to mitigate rickets - a bone disease caused by Vitamin D deficiency.
Check out some of our specific milestones below!
